Chairman NHDC and CMD NHPC Shri R.P. Goyal, inaugurated 48.4 MW Floating Solar Photovoltaic (FSPV) plant out of 88 MW capacity in the reservoir of Omkareshwar Power Station, NHDC on 22nd June 2024 in the presence of Sh. R. K . Choudhary, Director, Technical NHPC and Sh. V. K. Sinha MD NHDC. This project being the first floating solar, marks a significant step towards enhancing renewable energy through innovative technologies. CMD and D(T) congratulated all employees for exemplary work.During their visit to Omkareshwar and Indira Sagar Project, they inspected Power House and Dam appreciated superb maintenance of the plant. They along MD NHDC also planted saplings in the Colony. On this occasion Shri Deepak Saihgal, Executive Director (PMSG) NHPC, Shri Ashok Kumar, CGM (HR) NHDC Limited, and Shri D.K. Dwivedi, HoP Omkareshwar Power Station were also present.
